Congratulations, God wants a personal relationship with YOU, and we want to help you on this lifelong journey to follow Jesus.
God made us to be in relationship with Him, but all that we have done wrong has separated us from God. (Rom 3:23) God is perfect, and we’re obviously not.
The great thing is “God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us.” (Rom. 5:8). You see, God loved us even before we loved Him back.
If you said “yes” to Jesus: you have received the free gift of eternal life, you know He has dealt with all your wrong-doing, and He now gives you a renewed life that includes a relationship with Him. “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Rom. 10:9).
YOUR NEXT STEPS
Any great relationship requires communication, you will want to take time talking and listening to God. No special language required. Maybe start by telling Jesus how much you love Him, thanking Him for your new life, and sharing any needs.
You can also know more about Jesus by reading about Him in the Bible. As you begin reading, invite God to help you understand and apply what you’re reading to your life. We recommend you start reading in the book of Mark. Maybe read one chapter a day.
Additionally, baptism is important for every person who chooses to follow Jesus. It is the outward sign of what has already happened on the inside. Baptism illustrates Jesus death, burial and resurrection. Cornerstone schedules regular baptisms throughout the year.

At Cornerstone Community Church, we deal in real-life, not make-believe, so there is no room for spiritual
