What’s the Deal with Christian Education?

As a church that deals in real life, we want to take the time to discuss the topic of a Christian education. Now there’s absolutely nothing wrong with a public school education from a Christian perspective, in fact a lot of arguments can be made that it’s a better choice for young Christian’s as it creates an opportunity for them to practice being a Christian witness to others while being exposed to the world outside of the “Christian bubble” that is often synonymous with a private Christian school education.

There are still numerous benefits to raising your child in a Christian school education atmosphere as they will be surrounded by like-minded individuals and make connections that are rooted in faith. The curriculum in a Christian school has a faith foundation that is interwoven through each subject so your child not only gets the knowledge of the subject material but also sees it through a Christian lens.

On top of these faith advantages, often times a private Christian school will have a more advantageous teacher to student ratio which will allow for your child to receive the proper attention they need on their education journey. We would like to take this time to highlight Cornerstone Christian School, where they focus on providing students with a biblical worldview through academics as well as instilling the ability to make an impact on their community outside of the classroom. While you may have already made the decision of which form of schooling is best for you, perhaps you’re still on the fence and would like to know more information. Cornerstone Christian School is hosting an Open House on April 7th with dinner being served at 5:15 and the Open House starting at 6:30pm. This is a great time to explore the opportunities that a Christian education offers with no obligations.

About Cornerstone Christian School

Cornerstone Christian School offers the benefit of small school size, which enhances teacher-student relationships, and thus, the learning experience. Imagine a school where every student knows every teacher, and the teachers know all the students! Students get the attention they require in a rich caring environment and teachers are familiar with each individual student’s progress. This environment facilitates a sense of safety and security for the students.

CCS was founded fall of 1997, and provides an education for Preschool* through 12th grade. CCS is a member of ACSI and is fully accredited by both the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
