Young Adult - Thursdays 6:30pm - Offsite

I am on staff here as Director of Young Adults, where I strive to build a culture and atmosphere where relationships and friendships can blossom and grow into something special. Our Young Adult groups are discussion-based groups, making it easy for anyone, regardless of church experience, to join into our conversations.

Young Adults - Tuesdays 6:30pm - Church (childcare available)

We are excited to lead a Young Adult Life Group. I enjoy being on staff here at Cornerstone as Music Director; my wife Alex is the Acting Assistant Director of Academic Advising & Retention at Azusa Pacific University. We were married last August!

Couples - Tuesdays 6:30pm - Church (childcare available)

We began our journey at 15 & 18 years old; 21 years later, we have 3 girls: Alicia 20, Cesalie 14, and Sophia 11. We started our own business over a year ago, and by God’s grace, we are crazy busy. But we both truly feel called to commune with other couples. After growing as individuals and as a couple, we roll through the seasons of life. As young Christians growing in our life and faith, we can’t wait to meet you. We look forward to doing life with you!!!

Couples – Tuesdays 6:30pm – Church (childcare available)

We’ve been married 30 years, raised two boys, gone through several careers, had good and bad financial times, ups and downs in our personal relationship, and both of us are as different as night and day: but we’re still together and even like each other! We don’t know all the answers and we’re still learning some of the questions, but we have a like-minded faith in God and Biblical truths, and firsthand experience with the positives of staying together. We’re anxious to open our hearts to young couples that are high-powering through life with marriage, career, kids, church and anything else that comes in the way.

Adam & Katherine Materiale

Couples - Thursdays 6:30pm - Home in Murrieta

God has a plan and purpose for us not only individually, but also as a couple. We are constantly learning how to do life intentionally with that in mind. This group is a safe place to learn, grow, celebrate or mourn, and just do life together wherever life is for you right now.

Mixed - Tuesdays 6:30pm - Church (childcare available)

I am passionate about community and how that affects our likes as Christians. Jesus commanded us to love one another. I want to live that out in community with others. I have a heart for building healing relationships.

Griefshare – Susie Moore

Mixed - Wednesdays 6:30 - Church

I work full time as a clinician, have a masters in Psychology, speak four languages, and have attended Cornerstone for over 18 years. I raised two sons, one of whom is the Middle School Pastor here at church, the other on a worship team in San Diego. I am recently married going on 5 years. I lead Griefshare to give back to others to be a servant to God, and I understand grief due to the loss of my spouse and parents one year after another and not letting go of my faith in God! I embrace what he gives me daily and tell my story of hope and promise to others.

Men - Tuesdays 6:30pm - Church (childcare available)

We’re currently studying “Abide in Christ”: how the Christ follower can have a deeper understanding of our role in the big picture, and how we can grow closer to Jesus. Join us as we unpack the scriptures. We meet with another men’s study at 6pm for 20 minutes of prayer, across the hall. If you are wanting to get plugged in with the men of Cornerstone and grow in your walk with Jesus, we are all here moving forward together. Come join us.

I’ve been married 18 years and a mother of 7! I just recently went back to work after being a stay at home mom. I’m excited to start “Joy!” by Keri Folmar, a study about Philippians, as well as getting to know you. Let’s do life and Jesus together!

Shelly Spencer & Crystal Hart

Women - Sundays 6pm - Church

We are two women looking to grow relationships with other women of all ages and stages of life. As a group we can navigate life’s challenges together through Jesus Christ. We are two single women who work, and raised our family in this community. Now we are experiencing the joy of grandchildren and looking forward to creating Godly relationships as we serve God together.

I’ve been attending Cornerstone for 21 years and facilitating women’s Life Groups for 20 years. I’m married, with 2 children, 2 grandchildren and lots of animal children. I love being a part of women’s groups and seeing all the awesome things God does for us and through us.

Women - Mondays 6pm - Home in Murrieta

I am a wife and mother of 2 teenagers. I have worked in the field of education for the last 23 years. We are embarking on an exploration with Beth Moore about the Book of Revelation. I am a lover of reading, fitness and time with family and friends. I’m super excited about what God is going to build and show us through study. I know end times are scary so I’m excited to learn more!

Sheryl Treat

Women - Wednesdays 9:30am - Church

I’ve been attending Cornerstone for 20 + years, and started with Life Groups in 2014. I’m so excited to go through “Bait of Satan” with new believers, new to Cornerstone, new to Life Groups or anyone else. Please join me!

Raelynn Valdez

Cindy Rosa

Women - Wednesdays 7pm - Church

My family came from Orange County over 24 years ago and have been attending Cornerstone since. I’ve had the honor of facilitating Women’s Life Groups for over 20 years, as well as ministering as a Chaplin. My Christian journey began as a child, and I’ve been blessed with several Godly mentors throughout my lifetime.

I am an Early Childhood Educator, married and have 4 children and 6 grandchildren that bring much joy to life! We’re studying Laura Story “When God Doesn’t Fix It – Lessons You Never Wanted To Learn, Truths You Can’t Live Without”, exploring her own life challenges as well as heroes of faith. She shows us how God can use us despite flaws and brokenness; although He may not fix everything, we’re assured He’ll lead us to a place of peace!

Mitze McCurry

Women - Wednesdays 7pm - Church

I’ve been married 33 years to my best friend! We’re a blended family, his and mine make ours! We have 3 daughters and 1 son, 3 grandsons and 4 granddaughters. I love reading, gardening and cooking, and would love to go on Chopped!! We’ve attended Cornerstone for 9 years, but weren’t involved for the first 3, until Pastor’s message spoke directly to both of us, to serve. We volunteered in Hospitality and joined a Couples group. When asked if I’d consider leading, I said “who me?” I prayed about it and He told me to lean on Him and do it. That was in 2014, and one of the most fulfilling things I have ever done! I love meeting fellow sisters in Christ; we all learn from one another and support one another. I can’t imagine not leading or being a member of a Life Group now.

Melissa Brown

Women - Thursdays 9:30am - Church

I’m married with three kids ages 14-20. Life is busy and sometimes we feel like we have to control everything to keep from falling apart. “She’s Got Issues” is about letting go of the control and let God put the pieces back together.
