For those of you who followed my suggestion to join the internet paying world and signed up for our online giving program; thank you. I sincerely appreciate your generosity to Cornerstone.

For those of you who are hesitant, I still hope that you will log on to our website, www.go2cornerstone.com and check out online giving. It really is quite simple to navigate and I know you will find it much easier than bringing your checkbook to church. No matter what you choose, I do appreciate all that the people of Cornerstone do and give.

Behind the Times

Alright. Fine. I admit it. I’m seriously behind the times. I’m a checking account guy in an Internet payment world.

Most of us don’t carry a checkbook anymore. So we’re always watching the offering basket come down the aisle saying to ourselves, “I’ve got to remember to bring a check next week.” Before we know it, the month has gone by and we’re still trying to remember to bring that check.

I’ve always taught, “Make good financial decisions, like tithing and saving automatic, and make bad financial decisions inconvenient.” It’s time for us to take that step.

Join Debbie and me as we move our giving online. It will help us be more faithful and help the church continue to be here for people who need us.

Go to go2cornerstone.com and set up your giving. If you have trouble, call the church office and ask Lori to help you. That’s what I’m about to do.

I Get Tired of Doing Stupid Stuff

I get tired of doing stupid stuff. In fact, I hate the feeling of looking back at a decision and saying, “boy, was that dumb”. This week we will be studying on making better decisions. Get ready for it- make a “good decision” to come study with me. I may be dum today but I don’t want to stay that way.
